These Terms of Use govern your use of the Yakın mobile app (the “App”), provided by Gaggo Studio. By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What Yakın is
Yakın uses Bluetooth to help you meet people who are in the same place as you. If you both like each other, you match and can chat. We do not guarantee matches, dates or relationships.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older to use the App.
- The information you give, including your date of birth, must be accurate.
- People barred by law from using such services, or whose account was previously closed for breaking the rules, may not use the App.
3. Your account
You create an account by verifying a valid phone number. One account per person. You are responsible for your account’s security and for activity under it. You may not impersonate anyone or create a fake profile.
4. Conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or use hate speech or discriminate.
- Share sexually explicit, obscene, violent or illegal content.
- Use another person’s photos or information without permission.
- Scam others, ask for money or investments, promote crypto, share IBAN numbers or suspicious links, advertise, or send spam.
- Contact anyone under 18, or fail to report someone you believe is a minor.
- Scrape data with automated tools, reverse-engineer the App, or interfere with the Bluetooth or server systems.
- Publish other users’ profiles or messages elsewhere (for example screenshots) without their consent.
5. Your content
You own the content you share on your profile and in messages. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and process it to run the App; this license ends when you delete the content or your account. You confirm you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. Photos may be scanned automatically for inappropriate content, and content that breaks the rules may be removed.
6. Safety and reporting
On every profile and chat you can block and report with one tap. We review reports within a reasonable time and may remove content, warn, restrict or close accounts. In an emergency, call your local emergency services.
Meeting in person: the App introduces you to people who are in the same place, but we cannot verify users’ identity, background or intentions. When meeting someone you do not know, meet in a public place, tell a friend, and do not share personal details (address, workplace, financial information) right away. We are not responsible for users’ behavior.
7. Subscriptions and purchases
The App has paid features: Plus and Gold subscriptions (weekly, monthly or three-monthly) and one-time items such as Selam and Boost (Öne Çık). Current contents, durations and prices are shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel on your iPhone under Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Deleting the App or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- If a free trial or introductory price is offered, its terms are shown on the purchase screen; any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- One-time items (Selam, Boost) are consumable and non-refundable; your statutory rights remain.
- Refunds are handled by Apple; use reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Safety features (block, report) are never behind a paywall.
We may change prices and products; changes do not affect your current period. Purchases are also subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms.
8. License and intellectual property
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. The App, its name, logos, design and code belong to Gaggo Studio or its licensors; you may not copy, modify or distribute them without permission.
9. Termination
You can delete your account in the App at any time. If you break these Terms or the rules, or endanger others, we may suspend or close your account without notice. Except where required by law, there are no refunds for remaining subscription time or one-time items on closed accounts.
10. Limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” Bluetooth operation depends on your device, environment and permissions; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that you will find anyone, or that you will match. We are not responsible for users’ behavior, the content they share, or any meetings you have with them. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for indirect or consequential damages is limited; liability for intent, gross negligence and mandatory consumer law remains unaffected.

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will announce important changes in the App or on this page. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your statutory rights as a consumer (for example before the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts) remain unaffected.
